I find your insights and highlights extremely valuable, Julia. The pace at which AI is developing and expanding needs to be recognized. The opportunity for all stakeholders in education is to spend more time deepening and diversifying student networks with real humans rather than fighting or policing AI. An authentic human connection is more powerful than screen time.

Julia - thanks for the research and insights that "keep it real" when reviewing the potential impacts of AI on human connections. I agree that it is critical for us to pay attention to building human connections, not just personal/individual competencies or skills. We must be sensitive to promoting AI-enabled learning designs that are human-centered and human connection sensitive.
